Name: Loraine Webb Age: 34 years Gender: Female Personality: Loraine is anything but a wuss. She is blunt and never takes crap from anyone in any form or kind. She radiates confidence and pure grace through her actions and is well aware of her above average features. Although Loraine is pretty, she isn't a s l u t and won't stoop down to that level and use that to get her way. She is a fun woman to be around, often making jokes and laughing but isn't very pleasant when caught in the wrong mood. She is very proud to be a woman and since she lives in a time when women's rights are still a shaky topic, Loraine does all she can to promote her views on her gender's role in society. Proud and doesn't often admit she's wrong, will usually keep arguing even though she knows shes wrong. Can come across as very very posh and formal and she is to a certain degree. History: Born in South Carolina in 1910 on December 5th, Loraine was the eldest of five siblings. She has two sisters and three brothers. Her parents brought them up to be strong believers in their opinions and to show their merit and good morals. Loraine wasn't too 'book smart' but she is very 'street smart' and knows how to get out of sticky situations by twisting words and just playing off of her intuition. She was the only one in her family to not go to college. She never wanted to, Loraine knew she'd just be setting herself up to fail, she had barley graduated high school. Loraine is a very talented dancer, however. Ballet had always been one of her favorite things to do despite her not being the most girly girl in the world. As she got older, Loraine was never able to hold onto a man for very long. She was always thrown aside and ignored because of her rather sharp personality. She refuses to say this bothers her but it's actually a fear that she will end up alone for the rest of her life. Loraine lives in South Carolina now, trying to escape the city life. She is currently renting a room from an old woman kind enough to open her home to her. She works at a retail store right now and is still dancing in her free time. Voice: www.youtube.com/watch?v=R30D7v5RRSY&feature=relmfuShe can be rped in any Disney movie!

Just some fun stuff about her:
• What is your character’s name? Does the character have a nickname? Her name is Loraine. She prefers to not be called any nick names. • What is your character’s hair color? Eye color? Loraine has a dirty blonde color to her hair with auburn streaks. Her eyes are a deep jade green and have flecks of gold in them. • What kind of distinguishing facial features does your character have? She has very intense facial features. Her cheek bones are defined and firm along with her jaw line. Her eyelashes are thick and long too. On her right lower cheek she has a beauty spot. • Does your character have a birthmark? Where is it? What about scars? How did he get them? Loraine's birthmark is the beauty spot on her cheek. She has a scar running down her shoulder from a time when she fell on top of a pile broken glass bottles in a bar after having a bit too much to drink. • Who are your character’s friends and family? Who does she surround herself with? Who are the people your character is closest to? Who does he wish he were closest to? Loraine's mom died after she turned 8. Her mother had had cancer and since she lived in the early 1900's, no one knew how to cure it or what to do to prevent any pain. So she watched her mom suffer for three years before she died. Her father is still alive but the two never have gotten along well. Since her father was more of an intellect and Loraine wasn't very book smart, he ignored her most of her childhood years. Now she is still single and unmarried, lives alone in her apartment with only her cat, and never speaks to her brothers or her father. Her friends are only the ones she has kept in contact with over the many jobs she's lost and had. • Where was your character born? Where has she lived since then? Where does she call home? She was born outside of South Carolina in 1900. She's lived there most of her life. • Where does your character go when he’s angry? Loraine likes to be isolated when she's upset. She rarely opens up about her problems/issues with her friends. She coops up her emotions and cries about them waaay later and at the most random times sometimes too. She likes to go outside on the roof top of the department store she works at to get a nice view and to relax. • What is her biggest fear? Who has she told this to? Who would she never tell this to? Why? Her biggest fear is spending her life alone. She wants to be in love but once men get deeper than seeing her pretty face, they all leave her. She shares this with the widow that she lives with and has been for the past three years now. She'd never say anything to anyone else because she doesn't trust them. Even her own friends. • Does she have a secret? There was one night when her father came home drunk when she was 7 years old and she saw him hit her mother. She's never told anyone that, not wanting to smear her family name. • What makes your character laugh out loud? When people are doing something stupid and don't think so, her dance partner is funny, and sometimes her own jokes. • When has your character been in love? Had a broken heart? She's been through many relationships so she's had plenty of heartache. Loraine didn't sell her heart to every man but she did fall pretty hard for one of them. She was actually engaged to him but he died after being hit by a car. Then dig deeper by asking more unconventional questions:
• What is in your character’s refrigerator right now? On her bedroom floor? On her nightstand? In her garbage can? Loraine prefers fresh foods. Veggies and fruit make up most of her diet. The occasional meaty meal comes when her homeowner decides to cook for the two of them. Keeps milk and plenty of water in handy. Enjoys a soda every now and then. • Look at your character’s feet. Describe what you see there. Does he wear dress shoes, gym shoes, or none at all? Is he in socks that are ratty and full of holes? Or is he wearing a pair of blue and gold slippers knitted by his grandmother? Her toenails are ALWAYS painted a deep blood red color. Her feet are long and thin, about a size 9. When she's at home, she keeps barefooted or in house slippers during winter time. When going out, she keeps on black heels mostly. • When your character thinks of her childhood kitchen, what smell does she associate with it? Sauerkraut? Oatmeal cookies? Paint? Why is that smell so resonant for her? Saturday morning pancakes. Every Saturday morning until her mom died, Loraine would wake up to the smell of fresh made pancakes for breakfast. She dearly misses that past time. • Your character is doing intense spring cleaning. What is easy for her to throw out? What is difficult for her to part with? Why? Things that remind her of her father and her mother's death are easy for her to toss out. She couldn't much care for any of her brothers so anything about them either. She keeps anything that reminds her of dance, her late fiance or anything she ever wrote or letters/pictures of her and close friends. Enjoys keeping things she sews. Also keeps many diaries. • It’s Saturday at noon. What is your character doing? Give details. If he’s eating breakfast, what exactly does he eat? If she’s stretching out in her backyard to sun, what kind of blanket or towel does she lie on? Loraine is most likely either at a local dance studio that she frequently goes to or working a shift at the three story retail store she works at. May also be enjoying a glass of lemonade outside in the backyard while reading a book. She uses reading glasses, they are black rimmed and fit her face frame well. She sits under an old oak tree and enjoys the silence and peace. • What is one strong memory that has stuck with your character from childhood? Why is it so powerful and lasting? The night before her mother passed on, she told Loraine that she was proud of her and that she would always be with her. She told her to do what she loved and to love her life. Not to stress and do what she wanted and not what her father wanted. Loraine was the last one her mother saw before drawing her final breath. • Your character is getting ready for a night out. Where is she going? What does she wear? Who will she be with? She is in a fashionable, black c o c ktail dress cut a little below the knee in open-toed,black high heels. Her fingernails are matching her toenails, blood red colored. Her jade colored eyes are enhanced with black mascara and eye liner with a hint of liquid foundation to even her pale complexion. She's going either to a restaurant with some girlfriends or on a date. Goes out on her own sometimes just to get out and look around. Likes to check out the local shops and venders.

hmmm maybe. I haven't seen that yet lol! Its a good movie, though considering the year your character was born in, she'd probably be about 10 years old around the time the movie takes place (late 1910s/early 1920s).
