Amir looked at the charred food with a sad look. If there was anything that he hated to see was good food going to waste. Why had Goldie decide to cook them breakfast? Surely she could've woke one of the others to cook the food for her so it wouldn't have to be tossed away.
"There goes our breakfast.." He mumbled dishearteningly. He of course hadnt even notice Goldie staring at him. Much like his cousin, Grace, he was completely blind to his friend's secret feelings for him.
"I'm going to go look for some herbs, maybe I can find something for us to eat too on the way." Arowen spoke up. She knew her brothers wounds while bandaged risked getting infected which would eventually cause him to get sick or die if his wounds were not treated properly so naturally looking after her brother was her top priority at the moment.
"You shouldn't go alone. Not after yesterdays incident." Roran told her making a disgusted face at the charred food.
"Im fine. I can handle myself." Arowen insisted stubbornly.
"I can go with you." Sarra offered for an excuse to get up and do something and more importantly get away from Cedric as he was starting to make her feel strange and starting eternal struggle within herself about what she felt about the pirate.
"No. I'll go." Tristan told her.
Arowen let out an annoyed sigh. 'I would rather Layla tag along besides him...' She thought to herself. "Alright fine. The sooner we get going, the sooner we get back." She replied not sounding at all pleased leading the way with Tristan following behind.
"Tauriel, you and Gloin can keep an eye on everyone until we get back." Tristan added over his shoulder recieving a nod from Gloin showing he had heard.
Following Arowen, down the trail they had come from the night before, Tristan picked up his pace so to walk alongside her. "Listen, Arowen, I think we got off on the wrong foot." He tried to say attempting to make a better fresh start with the stubborn she-elf.
"Dont start. Im only letting you come along because I dont want to spend all day arguing about going alone. We are doing this for my brother, that's it." She spoke curtly as she kept on walking this time a little faster as if to get away from the elf.
Tristan glared taking a deep breath to stop himself from replying back a sharp retort as he walked faster still keeping pace with her. "You and your brother are awfully close aren't you?"
"Yes. Of course we are. Aren't you and Tauriel?" She replied this time more calmly and less guarded stopping briefly to turn and face him.
"Yes and no...at least not as much as we once were but that isnt to say that I don't care about her." Tristan confessed.
Arowen nodded before resuming walking but her pace was much more calm and controlled. "I dont suppose if you know of any Kingsfoil that grows around here, do you?"
"Kingsfoil? Im not sure what that is exactly but Im sure I can find some poppy seeds, Burnet, Catchweed, Chevril, and Dock Leaves. They should be everything you're brother is going to need."
"What are those for?"
"Preventing infection, helping sleep, giving stength for traveling, and soothing the pain somewhat. It'll be better than nothing until we get to Narnia where our Court Physician can treat him properly."
As they gathered herbs, they also gathered a few berries they came across ad well. It wasnt much but it was certainly better than nothing. When walking back to the others, Arowen couldn't help but remember the previous dreams she had with Tristan. He didn't seem so bad but it was wrong when her best friend liked him and she would go behind Grace's back like that.
She would go on pretending everything was the same as it was before even though she started to wonder was it really.

"I am so sorry about the food Amir!" Goldie had apologized yet again, but mostly to Amir because she couldn't bare to see him this disappointed about the charred food. "But I'm going to make it up to you; when we get to Narnia, I'd promise you the best meal of a lifetime!" She swore and that was a promise. Though she didn't exactly how to make perfect cooking meals, keeping that big of a promise was going to be more of a bigger task than one might think.
"AHEM!!" Tom purposely clear up his throat, trying to give his sister the signal that she was going far too fast about a challenge she wouldn't be able to do on her own. "Ixnay on the cooking-stay!" The hobbit grumbled to his sister underneath his breath. Kassie found the nearest stick there was close to the campefire, picking it up where it had one of the pieces of the burned up food on it. "Not to judge your skills on how to prepare a proper meal, but when was the last time you try to cook?" She asks right after making a disgusted face at what the damage had held up. "Didn't one of your parents teach you how?"
But Tom and Goldie were unable to answer Kassie's question as if she had ask them most impossible question to ever answered. The two Gamgee siblings casted a look at each other, wandering how they should break it to them gently otherwise. "Not exactly." Goldie was the first one to tell her. "We haven't had a feast made by our mom and dad since our younger childhood days in the Shire before we moved into Grace's homeland."
"But that's what the professional chefs are there for; to make for us and everybody, great delicious meals where our folks don't have to lift up a single cooking tool themselves. Right sis?" Tom says, proudly to say that he enjoy not having to waste precious time doing all of the hard work around because that was one of the best things ever around. But Goldie could not be able to agree like her brother did. While it was nice having days where they can have their pampering moments just as much as their best friend could have, but to be able to do things on their own felt more independent to do and that was the most important thing to have. "Well...maybe it wouldn't hurt to have one cooking or baking lesson." Goldie admitted while shrugging her shoulders.

"Considering we are no longer in the castle I think learning to cook would be best. Its not like there is anyone to do it for us sadly." Amir replied. He didn't realize that Goldie was doing more than apologizing for the burnt food and was trying to get a bit of positive attention from him of course.
"Where's Arowen and Tristan?" He heard Eldarion ask before turning around to face the Gondorian prince. "Shouldn't you be resting?"
"I can rest later." Eldarion argued with him before staring at the charred food. "What happened here?" He asked.
"Goldie wanted to make breakfast and burnt the food." Amir told him with a long sigh.
Eldarion looked at Goldie for a moment almost as if he could see right through her intentions but he gave no hint of it nor mentioned it.
"If you don't go back and rest. You're only going to make it worse on yourself." Tauriel cautioned Eldarion with a stern glare.
"I'll live." Eldarion objected stubbornly he expressed a long sigh of course when his sister shortly returned with Tristan looking angry to see him up and about too. 'Here we go again..' He thought to himself as she walked up to him and with crossed arms asked "Why aren't you resting?"
"I don't need rest." He told her matter of factly. It was a lie of course. He was in more pain he ever believed to be possible as his wounds burned and stung with every breath he took and his leg screamed in agony as he stood but he wouldn't dare let himself appear weak in front of everyone, especially Grace.
Arowen rolled her eyes. "Whatever just sit down and let me dress your wounds." She replied.
Eldarion didn't look happy but he naturally obliged letting his sister take off what remained of his shirt to dress the wound on his stomach and then let her dress the one on his leg which he gritted his teeth for to keep from screaming out in pain as the juices only seemed to intensify the stinging pain.
"How fit are you to travel?" Tristan asked him seriously.
"I can travel as well as anyone else." Eldarion replied stubbornly forcing himself to stand.
"Good. We leave within the hour." Tristan replied nodding a greeting to Grace before going to join Gloin and Cedric. He didn't mean to treat her that way but after spending a bit of time with Arowen he felt a bit strange and was trying to hide it.
Within the hour they were on the road again once more on the journey towards Narnia. Eldarion felt terrible in the fact they should've reached Narnia within the week but because of him they had to travel slower making it a week and a half before they reached Narnia.
They had emerged from a large rock formation that opened up to reveal a beautiful sunny beach with crystal blue clear waters and golden yellow sand.
"Wow. Its incredible.." Amir spoke breathless as he and others gaped in surprise and awe at the sight. The only ones who didn't seem surprised and taken aback by the scenery were Tauriel, Gloin, Roran, Tristan, and Gloin who had grown up their whole lives seeing it but they looked relieved to be home to say nothing of the least.
"Welcome to Narnia." Sarra spoke to the others leading the way out with the others following close behind.
"This place doesn't seem so bad. Kinda tranquil. If you like that sort of thing." Cedric admitted as he walked alongside of her.
Queen of Cities. Overflowing with excess. Every turn exotic, lavish, precious wonders numberless. Lead me now into temptation. Surely you would not deny one whose come so far to find you. All your blessings save goodbye. Eldarion couldn't help to think to himself. Sure he hadn't originally wanted to come but after arriving he couldn't help but think there was nowhere else he would rather be. It was as if there was some sort of magic to this place that made him begin to forget all the troubles and worries that had weighed on his mind for so long.
"Tristan? Gloin? Roran? Sarra? Tauriel? Where the hell have you been?!" A young man greeted them around the same age as Tristan and the others. He was dressed in chainmail with a red tunic and the symbol of a golden lion on the chest. He was tanned and had hair like D'Artangans but appeared to be a bit older with his facial hair and had blue eyes instead of brown.
"It's a long story.." Tristan replied hesitantly with a shrug.
"Never mind." He replied not seeming interested as he hugged Tauriel who hesitated slightly before hugging him back trying not to meet D'Artangan's puzzled expression.
"Who is this?" D'Artangan asked.
"This is Jake. He's-" Tauriel started to say but was cut off when Jake finished with "Im her fiance." giving D'Artangan a suspicious glare.
OOC: Dun! Dun! Dun! Bet you didn't see that twist coming? XD

OOC: No I did not, but that was a cool twist lol!
BIC: "Your fiance!?" Kassie gasps with quite the astonished surprised look she could ever reacted from her face. The hobbit opened her mouth to say something about the handsome dashing Jake, Tauriel's fiance, but Tom stop her quickly covering her mouth. "We all know what you're thinking, so let's not go there." Tom let her down simply easy.
"But--" Kassie try to respond back, shoving his hand away from her mouth, but Tom had to let her know it was not good to continuing causing more awkwardness now that they were in Narnia. "Trust me! I would allow it, but let's not do it here. We don't know this place very good or how they handle humor from hobbits." Kassie thought it out carefully and realize how much Tom was right despite to her surprise that he would try to stop her from doing something foolish, but had to remember that they were no longer in Middle-Earth and maybe within time, they would be able to get along well with the hobbits.
"Please to meet your acquaintance Jake." Grace greeted the young man with a smile and proper curtsy and a bow. As princess of course, it must always the princess' rightful duty to show royalty respect, something that she would still do whenever meeting new people. "My name is Gracious Baggins, and these two little ones are my cousins; Faramir Took and Cassandra Brandybuck." She added, introducing herself first, along side with Amir and Kassie. "And these are our friends, Goldilocks and Tolman Gamgee, and Arowen and Eldarion." And lastly of course the other four, but had no need to go with Aramis anymore since the name was long dropped down a long while back.
"To make easier for you, we'd like to be called Grace, Amir, Kassie, Goldie and Tom if you don't mind." Kassie had spoken up next, given out that only the five of them had nicknames to make it easier for people to remember when if they are to be addressed while their elfvish friends Arowen and Eldarion didn't.
"Oh Tristan!" Grace says, expressing her excitement as she stop on by to move on closer to him. "I was wondering, umm--now that we're here, perhaps we can have a tour of Narnia and maybe you can introduce me to your family? Please?" She asks the pirate price oh so nicely.

"And this is Cedric, Hayley, and D'Artangan." Tauriel added introducing the last remaining people of their company wishing she hadn't met the look of disappointment in D'Artangan's eyes when Jake had mentioned he was her fiance. Why did she feel guilty? She knew about Jake and nothing had changed since she had left home and yet she couldn't tear herself away from D'Artangan's eyes.
"Are you dwarves?" Jake asked staring at the hobbits after they were introduced and nodding a greeting to Hayley and Cedric.
"No. We're hobbits." Amir corrected him.
"Oh. right." Jake replied though he sounded even more confused before he turned to Eldarion and Arowen. "You're elves.." He sounded somewhat surprised.
"Yes we are." Arowen replied trying to resist doing a 'duh' like reaction to him reminding herself elves were rare in Narnia unlike back in Lothlorien, Mirkwood, and Rivendell back in Middle Earth.
"I have a big family Grace and you've met some of them already with Sarra, Roran, and Tauriel." Tristan reminded her somewhat embarrassed. "I cannot even guarantee everyone s around at the moment."
"Well you know where to find Triran. He's in the training hollow practicing." Jake told him. "As for Robin...well High King Phillip didn't really take he and I letting Tauriel leave to find you so easily which means he is strictly confined to his duties only."
"What about you? You're out and about." Sarra pointed out.
"Im on patrol duty." Jake explained.
"Where is everyone else?" Gloin asked.
"Well..Im betting Lady Arya and Lord Eragon are probably at home. Merlin's helping Gaius. And the Kings and Queens are doing their royal duties as always and Summer and Maria? Well you know those two. Always gawking over the newest guy to stroll into town." Jake replied.
"Told you I have a big family." Tristan whispered to Grace.
"What of our parents? Have they returned?" Tauriel asked hopefully pulling her gaze away from D'Artangan to push away her guilt.
"No...I thought maybe you would've found them. You found the others after all." Jake told her sympathetically.
"No...I found them but I couldn't find my parents or Gloin's father anywhere.." She confessed with a sigh.
"Well High King Phillip will want to speak with you all. Especially you two." Jake hastingly changed the subject pointing to Tristan and Gloin.
"We figured that was coming." Gloin confessed letting Jake lead the way up from the beach to the castle above.

Overhearing what have been inform to them about the missing whereabouts on Gloin's father Gimli and the missing parents of Tristan and Tauriel, it gave the hobbits a bit of curiosity wondering if their own folks were out searching for them too. Given how they have left Sam, Merry, Pippin and Gandalf behind in the Shire without saying goodbye, it wouldn't be hard to guess by now they haven gotten word that all of the children had left on their own to follow up on Eldarion's unexplainable "quest".
"Do you think it was a wise idea for us to leave without telling Gandalf and our dads why?" Kassie whisper among her other hobbit companions Amir, Goldie and Tom. "I think that question should be left over to Eldarion. He's the one who had us leave in the first place." Tom replied back to Kassie.
"No it wasn't! It was our choice to go and follow him. He and Arowen wanted to go on their own." Goldie reminded her brother. Not sure if the answer to Tristan's statement about meeting his family members was a yes or a no, Grace did seem quite disappointed, but show that she nodded to him as her way of understanding, until she took notice of her two best friends and cousins whispering to each other.
"What are the four of you whispering about?" Grace asks the four hobbits curiosity. "Huh? Oh nothing important Grace." Tom responded with a shrugged. "We miss home...that's all." Goldie added. "Don't you?"
"Me? Ppff! No!" Grace scoffed. "The important part of being on your own is to be free! Free to do whatever you'd like without a parent monitoring you 24 hours day like you're a worthless piece of nothing!" The princess wizard/hobbit couldn't help but vent out another unexpectedly complaining rant about Frodo yet again, only to be able to catch some silent reactions coming from them. "I'm sorry, but...you saw how my dad was at my birthday party the night before we left."
"True, we did." Kassie agreed with her cousin by nodding. "Exactly! So...who needs him? Not me!" Grace stated, being sure not to let the reminder of her father get the best of her.

"That is a terrible thing to say about your own father. I don't believe I've ever heard anyone say such things until now." Tauriel spoke ovehearing the hobbits conversation. "I would never say such thing about my parents and neither should you. Im sure your father loves you and is only doing what he believes is best for you. Surely nothing he could ever do to you would ever be good enough cause to say something so cruel?"
"She's right you know. I don't have any family anymore and my father was murdered in cold blood. I never wished such a fate on him nor anyone else. No father is worth bidding them good riddance." D'Artangan added.

"You think complaining about having an overbearing father is the worst? Try having to watch our own father constantly quarreling with her mother everyday. It's further more the worse!" Tom told Tauriel and D'Artangan, referring to of course Grace's mother Angel and their father Samwise Gamgee.
"My brother's right because it's true. Our father has had this deep rivalry with Gracie's mother ever since we can remember when we were small." Goldie added before quickly correcting herself about it. "No wait...it's actually been much more longer than that; they hated each other since the day they met. It's sad really..."

'Its sad because it seems childish Im sure but sadly there are those who have rivalries that never end." Tauriel replied. She, unlike she had with Frodo, did not defend the claims against Sam or Angel as it was not a situation she felt she could clearly identify without knowing the two of them.
"I don't have to go back to my duties right away, why don't Tauriel, Roran, Sarra, and I show you guys around?" Jake suggested.
"Sounds great but can we get something to eat first? Im starving" Amir spoke up patting his softly growling stomach with his left hand.
"One thing you will have to learn about hobbits is they seem to love food." Gloin told Jake as he and Tristan walked off.
"Where are you two heading off too?" Cedric asked.
"There's something we need to take care of we'll catch up with you guys later." Tristan called back to him over his shoulder.

"I did promise I'd make it up to Amir to make a good feast, and a feast it shall be!" Goldie swore to herself, thankfully reminded on the thought about food. With Jake serving as their tour guide, the very first stop they went to was the castle so that the kids can grabbed a bite to eat. Once they were waited at the dining hall for their full cooked meals to come, Goldie allowed herself to be excused, promising that she would be right back.
Quietly, the she-hobbit sneak off allowing right behind one of the servants who went into the kitchen. Only two minutes have passed, when there was a sudden strong smell was smoke spreading passed by the windows. "Is something burning?" Kassie coughed. But it had appear the answer had been spoken quite spoken, shortly before anybody else can comment a major big sounding explosion echoed around, giving even the grounded floors a trembling shake. And members of the servants ran off screaming.
"What in the world was that?" Cried Kassie. "Take one good guess." Tom grumbled. It had not been the first time for the hobbit to witness another kitchen explosion. With no sign of his missing sister anywhere around, Tom decided to check by the kitchen. As if his guess of a prediction had came true, he spotted Goldie racing out of the kitchen doorway coughing.
"Goldie! You're a mess. What happened?" Grace cried after she followed along with Tom to see her best friend covered in soot, only to be taking a horrified look at the messed up kitchen Goldie had ruined.
"You were gone for two minutes and blew up another kitchen? Wow Goldie! That has to be a new record, hahaha!!" Kassie laughed. But Tom found it nothing of the sort. He expected his sister trying to attempt into cooking again just to impressed Amir, only it failed double times more worse than ever before. "Now you see why Quinn doesn't let us go inside the kitchens anymore." He reply to Kassie, only to do a facepalm.

Hearing the sound of the crash, Eldarion Arowen and Amir quickly left with Grace, Kassie, and Tom to investigate. As they got close to the kitchen they could overhear the shouts of, "What have you done?! Look at the state of my kitchen! Its a mess!" The female head cook, a short older pudgy woman screamed as she looked at the state of her kitchen.
"Not again..." Amir mumbled shaking his head.
"All of you! Out! Get out of my kitchen!" The cook screamed angrily.
"Relax Helga, it was just an accident Im sure." A young tall thin young man servant around their age spoke. He wore a long sleeved blue shirt and brown pants and boots with a matching brown jacket and had short black hair and blue eyes.
"Goldie didn't mean anything by it, Ma'am." Eldarion added apologizing on behalf of his hobbit companion as he gestured with his hand for Tom and Kassie to help Goldie out of the destroyed kitchen and go down the hall before angrying the cook any further.
"Didn't mean anything by it?! My kitchen looks like a bomb went through it and who do you expect to clean this up, hmm?!" She shouted back at him. "Ever since your kind came here, the entire kingdoms fallen apart!" She complained.
Before Arowen could make a harsh retort, Eldarion stopped her giving her a stern look as the young servant led them down the hall away from anymore trouble.
"Why did you have to go and do that for Goldie?! Now we'll never get to eat!" Amir complained once they were out of earshot of the cook.
"Never mind that. Did you hear what that woman said?! The nerve of her! I've got enough mind to march right back there and whack her in the head with that rolling pin of hers." Arowen commented bitterly glaring back down the hall in the direction of the kitchen.
The young man laughed a little. "She certainly would deserve it but I wouldn't take it to heart, Mi'lady, Helga is always like that except to their royal highnesses of course." He commented.
"Honestly it was just an accident and we would've helped clean it up but thank you for your help just the same." Eldarion spoke to him leaning against the wall ignoring the pain of his wounds stinging fircely but didn't want to show any weakness in front of Grace.
"Dont mention it. I've done worse so it's not a problem. Im Merlin by the way."
"Merlin? Roran mentioned you.' Arowen added.
Merlin made a face. "Yeah...Roran...honestly I think he acts more like a royal prat than his actual royal cousin do."

"I'm sorry...I wasn't try to ruin the food for everyone." Goldie apologized, guilty as charge for it had broken her heart to see not only the hard colded look of disappointed from Amir's face, but how upset he was from that tone in his voice.
"You seem to have a desperate need to cook don't you?" Kassie can't help but question her friend's needs to trying to cook so badly. But Goldie didn't answer, for what good would it do if she were to tell them the truth about how she felt about their friend Amir? She wouldn't dare to risk it, but only her brother Tom was able to understand it, but even he wouldn't telling them either if he wanted to.
"Go easy on my sister you guys. She tried her best, wasn't that the point of it?" Tom spoken up by Goldie's defense. It was awfully wrong for one to criticize on an poor innocent person such as someone as shy and quiet as Goldie is. "Tom is right. It's okay to make mistakes." Grace told Goldie placing a hand on the hobbit's shoulder, whom unlike the rest, was not upset at her friend. It was very natural to be making accidents and mistakes all the time so nobody was really perfect.

"I know. I know but can't she insist on cooking after having some lessons first?" Amir replied trying not too sound as grumpy but he couldn't help it. He was hungry and that tended to make the little hobbit grumpy especially when they are about to eat and the entire thing gets ruined. Not once but twice.
"I've done worse and Helga will get over it." Merlin told Goldie placing his hand on her shoulder and giving her a warm smile before noticing Eldarion. "You need to have those wounds looked at. They might be infected."
"No I don't. Im fine." Eldarion told him sternly.
"Don't argue. Go. The rest of us will go see what the others are up too. Doing something will keep us busy and keep Amir's mind off food." Arowen told her brother.
"But-"
"Go." She told him before gesturing for the others to follow her. As they headed outside she found Gloin and Tristan letting out some frustrated steam as they attacked a couple of wooden training dummies. Clearly whatever they had to do hadn't gone well at all.
She also noticed that Roran, Tauriel, and D'Artangan were with them as well watching the sparring session.
'Hey." D'Artangan greeted them before noticing Goldie. "What happened to you?" He asked noticing her filthy and slightly sooted appearance.

"Me? Oh there was a little accident somewhere....say maybe the kitchen?" Goldie reply to D'Artangan with a cheeky sort of embarrassment. Spotting a couple of the wooden training dummies pick up Tom's interest, believing that becoming a show-off would put a impressive interest into Grace. "Training dummies huh?" The male hobbit grinned. "Okay ladies, step aside." He began to say as he stepped right in and crackled his knuckles, preparing to show off at his best. "Watch the master and learn."
Keeping in focus, Tom gave the wooden training a dummy a good old whack with a single punching fist. He smirk with amusement believing he had succeeded but the successful moment ended interruptedly shortly within a second once the wooden punching dummy swung right in and gave the hobbit boy a good old knock right outta him, throwing him down. "AAH!!"
"Haha! The only thing you have accomplish Tom, is getting the wind knock right out of you!" Kassie laughed, who knew that Tom's failure would come falling the quickest.
"Oh yeah? If you think it's so easy, why don't one of you come and try it?" Tom dared them. What sounded to the she-hobbit was a complete bet, which got Kassie to stop laughing. "You're not serious are you?" She asked him.
"Yeah, I'm serious." Tom told Kassie, and to show that he wasn't joking, he decided to let Amir give it a good old swing to it. "Come on Amir!" He gestured for their other hobbit fellow friend to join right in.
"What? NO!" Goldie cried sternly. She stopped herself, trying to look for the best excuse there was. She didn't want to see Amir getting hurt in the progress of attacking such an object like the wooden training dummy. "Umm...I mean...I don't--I don't think we should. Hobbits are not the best at being strong fighters." She insisted to her brother as her weak excuse to avoid Amir in joining into the training.

"Little bit of training never hurt anyone and in the case of you all it would do you some good especially concerning what happened before with those Urgals." Roran pointed out to her though he too laughed at Tom's failed attempt to attack the training the dummies.
"Yeah. Relax Goldie it could be fun." Amir added eager to give it a shot.
"No one will get hurt Goldie. No more than a few scrapes and brusies anyway." Tauriel reassured Goldie noticing how worried the female hobbit was for him. "It may help him from being injured worse in the future too." She added in a whisper.
