"Maybe....yes?" Hubie commented. It look that way to him because he treated Spotty more than just a pet. He was like a little son to him just like his children he had with Marina.

Rocko let out a frustrated sigh. He wanted to criticize Hubie but he couldn't as the way he figured it Hubie was probably trying to have Spotty fill up the empty space in his heart where Marnia and his kids used to be.

"No, I'm-I'm-I'm not." Hubie says looking down at his feet from the ground as he fiddle away with the scarf between his fingers. He couldn't stay mad at Rocko for losing Spotty and his pebble even if he did try to.

"You really think so?" Hubie asks, seemingly a bit suprised Rocko would say that, but by his words, he could be thinking that perhaps he was right about Spotty. But the only concern Hubie had for poor Spotty is for being out too far away where they might not be able to find him, and for being so young too alone with no real care.
