"Hubie! Oh thank goodness! I was so worried about you." Marina replied as she too had run up to Hubie when she saw him hugging him back tightly and kissing him.
"Ewwww yuck.." A couple of the little boy penguins commented making a face at the kissing while the girls all let out a happy contented sigh.
Once Marina pulled out of the hug Hubie was tackled by all eight of his kids who were all happy to see you. "We missed you daddy!" the seemed to say over and over in usion.
Rocko stayed beside Spotty, Spotty's aunt, and Aly watching the sweet reunion scene between Hubie and his happy family. "Aren't you forgetting someone?" He asks after a moment pretending to have an angry face about being forgotten.
"Uncle Rocko!" They exclaimed happily in usion before running over to him hugging their uncle.
Rocko smiled hugging each one clearly happy to see his little nieces and nephews.
"Whose that?" One of the little girl penguins asks noticing Aly hiding shyly.

Spotty wasn't sure if the penguins were talking about him or his aunt, but there he saw that Alyson was using him as a hideout so he lifted up his fin and pushes her up the front of the other kids with his snout.
Hubie rised up from the ground and gave his family a better introduction for her. "Marina, kids, I want you to meet Rocko's mate Alyson. Alyson, this is Marina; and my children."
"Please called me Aly." She smiled trying not to get so shy around them.

For once Rocko neither made a face nor did he object to Hubie calling Aly his mate instead he stood next to her holding her hand and smiling proudly.
"Mate? Ooh! Does that mean you're gonna get married?" One of the little girl penguins asks excitedly.

Alyson's face formed a pink rosy cheeky blush look on her face. And she turn her head away, scratching the back of her neck. The kids' question was cute, but even with her hand being held with Rocko's hand, Alyson couldn't answer back.
Hubie saved her all of the trouble answering when he told all of his kids the big news. "She's going to be your new aunt." He tells them all.
"Me? An aunt?" Alyson says surprised, but also feeling rather flatter that Hubie would take her in as a new aunt for all of his 8 little kids.

"Really? Cool! I've always wanted an aunt!" Another one of the little girls cheered followed by the other kids who soon all hugged her.
"Welcome to the family Aly. I'm Marnia, Hubie's mate."

With all of the kids gather up to Aly giving her a hugged, Aly hugged them all back. "Thanks! I've forgot what it's like to have a family; the good kind."
Spotty and his aunt happily smiled at the penguin family welcoming Alyson in. And they were very quite happy for her that not only did they got Hubie and Rocko back home safe and sound, but they also gave Alyson something special; a better family.
Spotty's aunt look at her nephew and motion a look that it was time for them to leave. She turn around facing in the back direction, but she gave her nephew the time to say his goodbyes to his fellow penguin buddies. Spotty lifted up a fin. "Ahem!" He cleared his throat up and gesture to Alyson, Rocko and Hubie that he needed to leave, but not without a fair-ful farewell.

Marnia and the 8 little penguins turned to face Spotty looking up at him due to the fact that he was taller than them now.

Spotty waved a little bit on at Marina and the young kids, but didn't have any time to say hello to them cause his aunt was waiting to join her and leave.
"Ohh you have to leave don't you?" Hubie says, sounding to get pretty sad. "Yeah..." Spotty nodded.
"Will we ever s-s-see you again?" Hubie asks. "I'll come back someday when I'm older." Spotty promised him, as long as his aunt didn't knew. But he swore that there will come for a time when he's much old enough to be on his own to see his fellow penguin pals again.
"Goodbye Spotty!" Hubie gave him a hug, and then pulled in Rocko for a hug too. "There's room for one m-m-more!" Hubie added, talking to Aly to join the boys in their bidding farewell hug. Alyson shrugged and decided to hop right into the big old bearing penguin/leopard seal hugged too.
"Thanks kid! If it wasn't for you, I wouldn't be here." Alyson says, proud that she wouldn't be reunited back with Rocko if not for Spotty finding her first.
With their huggings finally done and finish, Spotty joined back into the block of ice with his aunt and rode off. "Bye!!" He calls, waving his fin so long to them.

The eight little penguins said nothing but their eyes were extremely wide as if not knowing whether to stay still or run behind their mom for protection.
Marina gave a small smile to Spotty and a silent nod words escaping her.
"So long kid. You and your aunt take good care of yourselves, you hear?" Rocko says after the hug. He still had to admit he would miss 'em but maybe fate would have them all cross paths one day once again.

"I'm gonna miss that old loveable blub!" Alyson says, never thinking that becoming good real pals with a leopard seal would make her miss him terribly, but if he had did promise he'll come back someday, then she believe him.
"So what's there now?" Hubie asks, not sure of what to do now that they were home. "Your just in time for the full moon mating ceremony tonight." Petra says, almost forgetting that tonight was gonna be the big day all of the other single penguins were going to find mates with their pebbles.
"Blaugh! Not that mushy stuff again!" Beanie comments with disgust. "Hubie, can you tell us the story how you found the pebble for Marina again?" Timmy asks, since the mating ceremony look like the good time to hear it. Hubie has been re-telling his tale over and over since then.
"Sure!" Hubie says, not minding at all. He always loved telling to the new lovebirds at the rookery how his tale came to be to give his pebble for Marina.
Alyson watch as Hubie was walking away happily with his little bird pals. "Full moon mating ceremony?" She says looking at Rocko pretty surprised.

"All the single male penguins gather whatever kind of stone they can find to give to a single female penguin of their chosen and if the female penguin accepts then they become mates pretty much." Rocko explained to Aly.

Alyson toss up her pearl lightly to catch it and grinned at her new found mate. "Then I guess we better help them get started." She grins, joining her fin back to Rocko's and follow their adelie penguin.
5 years later had passed and up to the prior to that, Hubie had spend less of his worries not thinking about Spotty anymore. Seeing Rocko's happiness still had matter to him the most now that his best friend was no longer the single guy around the rookery of the other adelie penguins.
Hubie was playing hide-and-seek with his 8 children and was getting very close to winning, but Petra flew by singly alone looking for the sweet-hearted adelie. "Hubie! Aly wants to see you!"
"Alyson? Wh-why?" She asks. "She has something she wants to show you!" Petra shortly explained. "Ohh..o-okay." Hubie nodded. He apologize to the kids for ending their game so shortly, but he promise he back shortly. Whatever Alyson needed him for, it must of been something big, though he didn't understand why it had to get him involve and not Rocko.
"Alyson?" He called once he quietly crept inside of her cave. "Shhh! Cubie! Quiet down! Keep your voice on low!" Alyson shushed.
"Oh sorry! Why are we talking like this?" Hubie asks, now leaving his tone down to a whisper. "I want you to be the first penguin to see this!" Alyson says, revealing the big surprised. She had a big nest but there was something white hidden underneath the organic twigs. Alyson took off some of the pieces to show him not one, but two penguin eggs.
Hubie gasped. He was so surprised he pressed his hand on against his heart-beat. "Oh Alyson! This is...this is AMAZING!!"
"SHHHH!" Alyson shushed him again. "Ohh right, sorry sorry! They're...they're beautiful! But wh-where's Rocko? Shouldn't he be here with you?" He asks, checking around to see if he was there. This time, Alyson didn't kept her voice this low. "Uhh yeah about that..." She nervously smile, rubbing her hand up and down onto her other arm. "Rocky doesn't know!" She told him the truth.
"He doesn't?" Hubie replies back with a confused puzzling question. "No! He left this morning out looking for you! I err....sorta had these little white eggies pop out after he left. I don't know what he's going to say when he gets back."
"I'll do it! I'll tell him for you!" Hubie volunteer. Alyson wasn't sure if she thought it was such a good idea. "You will?"
"Sure I will. But umm...I'm-I'm...heh! I'm...g-g-oing to need to take one of the eggs with me to prove it. He's not going to believe me if I tell him in words." Hubie added. Alyson thought over on the idea long and hard. Could she really trust him if Rocko would believe it? "All right, you got me! But just one! And be careful, these eggs are extremely delicate!" She says, picking up the proper egg that look best for her and gave it hand-down over to Hubie. "You do know how to take care of an egg do you?"
"Yes! I have 8 kids. I know how to treat an egg with care and love." Hubie says, not seeing the downer bad side to it. An egg was an egg; long as it had it's huge respect. "That's the part I'm worried about." Alyson mumbles as she sees the excitement heating up on Hubie's face and saw him leaving, carrying the egg in both hands.
"Rocko! Has anyone seen Rocko?" Hubie asks around, never stopping to end his running. "I gotta find him! I just gotta find him! Wait til he sees this! It's--!" But the adelie penguin came to a halt when he caught the rockhopper trotting off in another direction. "Rocko! Hey Rocko!!" He calls out his name, waving at him. Without thinking about ruining the surprised, Hubie quickly cover the egg by hiding it tied up in his scarf. And he held it behind his back as he wanted for Rocko to walk up to him.

"Hubie? Where have you been? I've been looking all over for you." Rocko says as he walked over to Hubie before noticing his friend had a huge grin on his face. Clearly Hubie knew something he did not. "What's with that grin?"

Hubie unfolded the hideout from his scarf and show Rocko the egg. "TA-DA!!! Is that the most incredible egg you've seen or what?!" He burst out excitedly.
