Hubie's clues needed to start out small if he didn't want to take his best friend off the complete surprise loop. "Someone's going to be a daddy!" He gushes grinning with his eyes battering.

"You and Marnia have more kids?" Rocko asks figuring that Hubie meant that not yet knowing that Hubie was actually talking about him.

OOC: I would start feeling so ashamed for them if he starts asking how does it happen. He outta know how the ways of the Birds and the Bees work LOL!
BIC: Hubie lost his happy mood face. He told Rocko once that he and Marina weren't going to have anymore and eight was around for them to raise by theirselves. Maybe he should of been more clearer. "N-No! I'm talking about y-you. Your the dad! Surprise...."

At first Rocko didn't react remaining silent as if he didn't believe or understand what Hubie had just told him before he began to laugh. "Stop joking Hubie. There's no way I'm a father." He replied in between laughs.

"But I'm I'm serious! Alyson told me--" Hubie begin explaining, if only Rocko would believe me. But then suddenly, a killer whale's sound went off and there was a sudden thud crashing. The icy ground shooked, awakening the broken ground and Hubie's hands fell loose from the egg.
Hubie watch devastated as the little white egg fell into the water. "AAAH! THE EGG!" He cries. Hubie was going to dive in and rescue the egg by himself, but it wasn't going to be enough to get the other penguins away from the clear waters for a swim with a group of killer whales came rising out of the waters to grab feeding on the poor flightless black and white birds.
Instead of choosing his own neck to lead everyone away from getting eaten, the egg felt more important to save. Bravery as he did, Hubie jump into the waters, swimming as fast as he could to go after Rocko's unborn child.

"Hubie!" Rocko yelled after his friend after watching him drop the egg into the water and desperately dive after it to save it.
Meanwhile "What's going on?" One of Hubie's sons asks trying to hard to hide the fear in his voice.
"Everything will be alright." Marina says trying to keep her kids calm before turning to Aly, Petra, Beanie, and Timmy. "We need to make sure we get everyone to safety." She tells them.
"Momma, where's daddy and uncle Rocko?" One of the girls asks her eyes wide with terror and nothing but fear in the tone of her voice.
"Don't worry. I'm sure they're alright." Marina says silently praying in her thoughts that she was right.
Back where Rocko was he took it upon himself to dive down into the water after his friend and help him by luring some of the killer whales away from Hubie and the island.

"You three!" Alyson pointed to the little birdies. "Take her and the kids back to my cave. And watch the egg! I'm going to look for Hubie and Rocko!" She says, not caring if her life had to be risked or not, but she was more worried for the sake of her mate and his best friend.
But Alyson got too busy ahead to rescue some of the smaller penguins away from the killer whales at the last second and back to their families. She notice strangely that the whales seem to be leaving, but she saw no sign of Rocko or Hubie. "Rocky!! Rocky!!" She called. Then she called out for Hubie's name. "Hubie! Hubie!!" But it had been no use. They were gone. Alyson's heart tore into many pieces as she saw the water and the air breeze around gently. Now the only thing left to remember from her old childhood mate and dearly beloved was the last single egg she had to nurse for alone now that the other egg had been gone too as well.
Meanwhile in another far away other direction, Hubie was laying unconsciously by the wet snow as the small waves splash in, finally waking him up. There, he saw Rocko's egg washed ashore right next to him. Carefully, Hubie had to forced himself to sit up. He didn't check to see if Rocko was with him, but if he knew his old friend, he probably was. Hubie double check all parts of the egg to make sure there had been no scratches. It look like all of the details look perfectly okay expect one small crack right by the down side.
Hubie was not sure how it had happen, but he would of hope for the best and pray maybe the baby chick would make it out okay if it ever comes to it's day to hatch.

"Hubie? Hubie!" Rocko called looking for his friend before soon spotting him and running over to him.
"Good to see you're still in one piece." He commented as he slowed down his pace walking up to Hubie watching as his friend looking over the egg for any damage.

"Umm yeah I sure am. I uhh...Rocko. I'd---" Another interruption had boiled again for the two lonely penguins when they felt the pressure underneath their feet where they were standing at rumble. The snow wiped off and they saw something black. They came up high and they look up noticing a head up in front of them show up;
It was the neck of a leopard seal. "AAAAAH! ROCKO, SAVE THE EGG! SAVE ME!!" Hubie screamed, leaping on top of Rocko's head. The puddles of rusty snow fell off from the leopard seal's mouth and he heard something; two penguins no doubt that were on his back. He turn around to reveal his face; "Uncle Rocko? Papa penguin?" Spoken the adult male's voice.
Hubie's eyes glance up. Once more, they had met their old friend Spotty; only this time he was now the perfect young grown-up size. His bangs grew out a big longer to fit the measure of his head just right. But that wasn't all, he also grew out the perfect set of healthy sharp pointy teeth too.
"Spot-Spot-SPOTTY!?!!?" Hubie yelped. "Hi! It's great to see you again!" Spotty smiled, showing his pretty white sparks. Not knowing how else to react, Hubie scream but drop off away from Rocko and landed onto the snow; fainting from the progress.
Spotty drop the smile. "Hubie?" His nose picked up a funny odd scent, but he knew clearly well what that smell was. "Oh golly, he soiled himself!" He says, covering his nose.

"Hubie?! Get off and fight like a-" Rocko began to angrily object as his larger friend attempt to cower on him for protection from the sudden apperance of a large male leopard seal.
The rest of his sentence was cut off however when the Leopard Seal spoke up revealing itself to be none other than Spotty who was now all grown up. "See you got all freak out for nothing!" Rocko replied to Hubie before feeling the weight off his head lift as Hubie fell backwards fainting.
His face wrinkled in disgust shaking his head. "I guess you scared him really good there." He says before turning to face Spotty looking up at him due to the huge height difference between them now. "It's good to see you again though but if you sneak up like that again you might cause Hubie to have a heart attack." he says chuckling.

"Hubie? Hubie wake up!" Spotty says, poking the adelie from the belly. It cause Hubie to stirr into a little laugh. "Ha-ha-ha! Cut it out. That tickles!" Currently, it did the trick, but he attempted to scream in horror again, but Spotty cover the penguin's mouth with his giant fin. "Hubie, Hubie! Calm down! It's me, you remember...Spotty?"
Hubie pushed Spotty's fin down to speak. "Sp-Spotty? Wow! Your sure not l-l-little anymore are you?" He says, greatly amazed how huge he had gone from a regular size to a average perfect size.
"Whose egg's that?" Spotty pointed, looking at the egg next to Hubie. Hubie scooped up the egg and brushed off the bits of snow off it. "It's Rocko's egg!" He tells him.
"Rocko?" Spotty look at Rocko to try and believe it, but he burst out laughing. "HA-HA-HA! Rocko, I...I hate to break it to you friend, but your not father material!"
"It's true!" Hubie frown. First Rocko didn't believe it, now Spotty didn't? Why did everyone else think he was nuts?
"Whose the lucky mate?" Spotty asks, but Hubie answer quickly for him. "Alyson is."
"Alyson? You mean Aly? Wow! I didn't know she had it in her!" Spotty chuckle snickering, hiding half of his grin.

Rocko's jaw now dropped slightly. 'His egg with Aly? Since when?' he wondered to himself. Aly never told him about it so how did Hubie know and more importantly why did she have Hubie tell him letting him borrow the egg to prove it?

Hubie heard a cracking sound; but not just any kind of cracking sound. He look down to see that Rocko's egg was just up and ready to hatch.
The crack that he saw before was turning into little pieces and out pop one feet. Hubie had become so overly startled, that he drop the egg accidentally, but the egg caught it's landing and broke out another foot.
The two penguins and the seal watch with surprised as the egg with two feet was walking away. "Hey! Come back little egg!" Hubie calls, chasing after it. "Come on girl!"
"Are we sure it's a girl?" Spotty asks. How would Hubie, brainless as he had always been, convinced himself enough that it was a female and not a male possibly?
"No, and we're not checking!" Hubie responds. As the egg with two feet couldn't see which direction it had been going, the egg stumble down, fell into a rolling tumbling circle and crashed-landed, but softly down back to the floppy snow.
Hubie, Rocko and Spotty found the hatched chickling and she appear to be not at harm at all. Though her face had been cover with a piece of big shell on top of her head. The baby chick threw her head back to toss off the shell from her face. Her wings appear to be small, and her feets were a bit big, but she had natural straight looking wavy hair down to the shoulders and two different color eyes. One was blue just like Alyson's, but it was on the other side, and for as the other, her other eye was fully on red just like Rocko's, but it was a bright-light red.
"See? I told you!" Hubie said to Spotty. The leopard seal had no clue how smarted his adopted fatherly penguin figure was. Hubie walked a bit closer to get a better look at the young daughter of Rocko's. He gasped lightly, dumbfounded by the appearance of her eyes.
Hubie gulped, nervously trying not to twitch a horror looking face. "Well...sh-sh-....she's got your good eye Rocko. And...one of Alyson's. Eugh!" He made a quickly disgusted face, but shook it off so it didn't appear like he was being judged by the young hatchling's eyesight. Spotty made a gestured with his fin to pick up the chick's attention. She had been kinda wobbling, but she stood up perfectly.
Hubie look how amazed and smart she was on her first day of standing up, but can she walk? "Come here! Come to daddy and uncle Hubie!" Hubie cooed, making kissing noises to get her to move. The baby female rockhopper made the first step, but wasn't doing that well of a great job. She fell, and she got up, but she fell and do so the same thing again.
"Scrawny little thing isn't she?" Spotty says. She was almost close to reaching her goal, but when she got to Hubie, she lost interest and walk away. "Wh-where are you going?" The baby she-penguin made one last fall. So frustrated that she was, she crawl fast using her fins and feet to dig onto the snow and head-butted into Rocko's thick under belly.
She started at the feet and stomach she look right in front of her, then look up to see it was a rockhopper just like her. The baby took a seat, sitting down a bit roughly onto her butt and gaze at Rocko smiling brightly at him. "Da?" She squeak, flapping her hands twice.

Rocko watched silent and frozen as the egg hatched revealing it to be a little female rockhopper chick with most of Aly's looks save from the one eye that was just like his only a much lighter shade.
If there was still any doubt in his mind that the little hatching was not his it was gone now.
He couldn't bring himself to speak though he opened his mouth to try before closing it when nothing came out. At Hubie's comment towards Rocko's daughter's eye Rocko gave him one of his famous warning death glares that always seemed to say 'Say it and I'll kill you!'.
He then watched as the little chick forced wobbling self to her feet and try walking. Failing the first time but not giving up. He couldn't help but grin proudly seeing that. She certainly had his stubborness and determination.
He looked down at her when she sat down in the snow in front of him and said ''Da''. Her very first word recognizing him as her father. She was certainly smart for such a small young thing and Rocko didn't think he could be an even prouder father. He gave her a smile and nodded.

The baby chick happily knew that she was correct recognizing the stubborn grumpy old rockhopper as her father. She squeal cheerfully, rising herself up and giving him a hug.
"Awww! So do--do you believe me now Rocko?" Hubie asks.
Spotty would never admit that he was wrong about judging the parenting thing about Rocko, but there was still one thing left for them to do. "You still have to name her." He added, pointing it out.
