Aladdin sighed with relief when he noticed Jasmine, safe and sound though he still worried about the whereabouts of his magical companions, Genie and Carpet and hoped they too were around somewhere, safe and unharmed.
He nodded to the leader. "So how do we cure her of the curse?" He asked. It had always been like Aladdin to help people when he could after all.

Jasmine just glares at the leader. She would do whatever Aladdin felt was best.

The leader suddenly smiled, "You don't cure her of the curse. What do you think I would let you do such a thing and lose my power of fear over the villiagers. Their fear gives me strength just like your fear towards Jafar gives me strength. No my young prince you and the princess are cursed and will be forced to live out that curse and that girl is also cursed to be that large cat for the rest of her days. She's not my daughter hahaha. Now my young prince do you give up? Are you broken enough to quit being a hero?"

"Cursed? What are you talking about? We're not cursed." Aladdin objected though he did glare at the leader finally understanding his monkey companions outburst when he saw the village leader moments before and now felt bad for not trusting his friend's instincts.

Abu shrikes out in mad manner at the Leader. He sat there clung to Jasmine's shoulder.

The leader laughed, "HAHAHA! Of course you're cursed. I put a curse on you to turn into bloodthirsty canines every time the moon goes up in the sky. That girl turns into a giant cat." The leader suddenly paused and said, "Aladdin you still haven't figured out who your foe is, you fool, even with me talking about cats!" Suddenly the leader morphed into Mirage who suddenly got out a dagger and threw it into Jasmine's chest as she bragged, "How much more do I have to take from you Aladdin before you lose the will to be a hero? Your love for your friends can only go so far..."

Aladdin quickly ran moving Jasmine out of the way so the dagger just barely missed her and instead slashed Aladdin's shoulder as flew by.
He glared at Mirage. "I should've known it was you." He spoke. "Don't you know by now that my will as a hero cannot be broken, even by someone such as you?"

Jasmine gasps as the dagger flies towards her. She saved in time by Aladdin.

Mirage simply laughed at this spectacle as she simply said, "You foolish hero. While you have taken your sweet time here at this villiage I lured you to, my firecats are already on the outskirts of Agrabah with only the Sultan residing there." She suddenly smiled sinisterly at the princess as well, "I'll make sure my firecats burns the Sultan into a fiery crisp as he's burned alive, very slowly." She shrugged as she showed Aladdin his Genie trapped inside a tiny magic-proof lamp as he yelled out, "Al! The leader is really Mirage!" Iago simply rolled his eyes, "Thank you Captain Obvious."

"We need to get back to Agrabah." Aladdin spoke to Jasmine, Abu, and Iago. He wanted to help Genie too but the sultan would need his help now.
The burned wolf pawprint on his shoulder stung sorely and the cut from the dagger certainly didn't help either.
"This isn't over Mirage." He threatened her trying to ignore the inner instinct to chase her which he knew was a result from the curse Mirage had placed on him.

Mirage said, "Oh no you don't hero." She quickly cast her spell and had a smile as she said to Jasmine and Aladdin, "And now as dogs you are extremely hungry and see the monkey and parrot as appetizing meals for your stomach," as she finished casting her spell.

Aladdin grit his teeth as he felt himself once more transform into his new form. Under Mirage's spell, he couldn't help but turn to face Iago and Abu and lick his muzzle as he bared his sharp fangs. With a low growl he raced towards them going for Abu leaving Jasmine to go for Iago.
As a human, Aladdin had always been fast enough to keep up with Abu, so it was no surprise that as a dog he doubled in speed. After chasing his monkey companion for a few moments he pinned him down under him with his large paws.
Just as he was about to make the killing bite to Abu's neck he seemed to gain a little self control as he looked into his friend's wide pleading eyes and forced himself to back a few feet away and shake his head trying to regain control over himself from Mirage's spell.
His claws repeatedly scratched the sand as he kept forcing himself to fight finding it harder and harder to do so.
After several moments he turned to Mirage and growled. "If I am a dog, why should I bother with a monkey and a bird when I really should be chasing a cat?" He teased her before racing towards her before leaping and pouncing her down and growling louder. "Now that I have your undivided attention, you'll call off your fire cats from attacking Agrabah and the sultan, Release Genie and Carpet, and Free Jasmine, that girl, and I from your curse!"

Mirage simly laughed as she plunged a dagger into Aladdin's shoulder and said, "Get off of me!" kicking him off. Mirage simply shrugged as she said, "I will make sure my fire-cats take over Agrabah and as for you two dogs..." she pointed to the giant cat right behind them, "we'll see if canines or felines win," as she disappeared. The giant cat growled towards Aladdin.

Aladdin let out a loud yelp as he felt Mirage stab his shoulder with her dagger. He immediately got off her licking some of the sticky hot red blood that bled out of his wound.
His wounded paw he kept in the air as it hurt his shoulder far too much to put it down as he stood protectively in front of Jasmine. He certainly didn't want to hurt the poor girl Mirage had also cursed but he wasn't about to let any harm come to Jasmine too.
"You don't want to do this. Mirage is your enemy not us." Aladdin spoke trying to reach her though he knew she could not speak as he, he did hope she could at least understand.
