"My powers are never wrong. If he survived, then I have a strong feeling Emily is alive too." Angel told Gimli. "That must be why they came. They were hunting for the tracking scent of an elf!" Sam said, figuring this out too.

"Then let's hope if they are alive that those beasts haven't tracked them down yet." Gimli replied though there was evidence of a smile on his face at the thought of them soon being reunited with their other two companions.

"We can't find them with Aragorn's leg down." Frodo reminded the dwarf, noting to him that with their king down, finding the missing elf and the lost princess wasn't going to go down so good.
"No but the dwarf is right Frodo; hope is the only thing we'll need." Angel tells the hobbit before returning over a glance to Gimli. "So am I to understand you've had a long history with Legolas Greenleaf? Your smile says it all!" She says, feeling glad that the news cheer him up.

"Yes, we've been friends since after our fellowship's arrival in Lothlorien and meeting the beautiful Lady Galandriel. Though we hated each other long before then due to our races hating one another and his father imprisoning mine in his home in Mirkwood." He briefly explained. "I suppose you can say the beautiful elf put a spell on us." He joked laughing.

BIC: As the fellowship went on, surely but still slowly, they left the snowy location and continue forth towards good old dry land. By nightfall, they stop to rest. Though they were tired from traveling, everyone had a late dinner that night. Angel sat by close to a pond, looking up at the moonlight sky. The stars were so gorgeous as was the moon too. Seeing how lovely the sky was at that time of night made the princess thought of home. She remember back at a time it would be those kinds of nights where she and her mother used to sing together. Taking a break from wearing the gloves too much and leaving them in her pockets, the princess took out a little bit of leftover plants she still kept from when Emily had gave them to her. Just by looking at them reminded her of her dear friend. She still had to keep her hopes up that soon they will find her again. The princess closed her eyes, and smell the lovely scent of the plants. Opening them again, she begin to humming as she drag a metal finger into the water, making the ripple effect. Frodo was with Sam by the campfire, getting some food in them when the hobbits started hearing the princess going from humming a tune to singing. I know you, I walked with you once upon a dream I know you, that look in your eyes is so familiar your a gleam And I know it's true, that visions are seldom what they seem But if I know you, I know what you'll do You'll love me at once, the way you did once upon a dreamSo memorizing, so beautiful, but yet so mysterious. Frodo had never heard Angel singing before, and no words can describe how magical it sounded to him in his ears. So well in fact the hobbit almost nearly doze off. But Sam nudge him awake. "Mr. Frodo?" Frodo snapped back wide awake. "Huh? What?" Sam look over by where the princess had sat and knew she was the cause to it. "Hey princess!" He called to her. "Keep it down, we don't want to be effected by your magical spells!" Angel stop and was not happy by how bother Sam was by it. "My singing does NOT cast spells!" She called back in return. "Why do you do that?" Frodo asks him. "Do what?" Sam ask when he was asked about what he just did there. "Talk her down!" Frodo answered. After all they had just barely gone through, Frodo can tell that Sam was still not being too fond around the halfling princess. "Because.....no offense Mr. Frodo, but she can be strange....and annoying at times!" Sam admitted. Thus hearing this did made Frodo very well offended by it. " My Angel is NOT strange and annoying!" He thought bitterly before realizing what he just realize what his mind was telling him. He called the princess his own like she was really his girl. But it didn't matter since he was lucky it wasn't said out loud. He didn't want Gimli, Merry, Pippin and Gandalf to hear that if it was to be said out from his mouth. "Take it back!" Frodo glared. "What? Why?" Sam asks, a little bit shaken by his friend's reaction. "Because....I said so!" He replied, but Sam refused. "No! I won't be taking back what I said!" "How can you say those things? She's NOT Gollum! Why can't you see past that?" Frodo says, feeling more offended by it. It was like Sam's thoughts and feelings about Gollum had never left and still stuck with him since the ending of the one ring. "I'm not falling for another one of your arguing fights again." Sam shake his head, disappointment by him, so he left to spend some time with the others. Frodo saw nothing wrong with Angel's singing. He thought it sounded good and he enjoy it. "Angel? Come here!" He called. And she showed up. "What? Come to tell me I need to stop my singing?" She crossed her arms, waiting to hear what he needed to say, but it was nothing like that. "No, I like it." Then he added "Will you sing to me?" Angel would never thought there would come a time when someone would want her to sing for them. "Your asking me a request to sing you a song?" Frodo nodded. "Yes!" Angel sat down next to him, looking for a way to think at that minute. A butterfly flew on by and landed on her finger. She look at the flying bug. It had such beauty, it made her smiled affecting the metal hand to glow yellow; her sign of happiness. She return back to the chorus lines she sung earlier. But if I know you, I know what you'll do You'll love me at once, the way you did once upon a dream
Oh how lovely it was hearing that wonderful singing voice of hers. Frodo try his hardest to fight himself awake, but he couldn't. Eventually when she was done singing, the hobbit fell back, this time with his head resting on her lap. "Oh!" A little bit taken by surprised, the princess try to avoid to snicker, but failed. He look so peaceful in his sleep. She smiled sweetly down at him as she gently brushed his hair with a stroke. "Goodnight Frodo." She spoke gently. Though Sam was still hanging with the rest of the group, he couldn't help but witness what had happened between Frodo and Angel. He then begin to feel guilty about what he said to Frodo earlier over from their little argument. "Maybe I was wrong about her." He told himself. OOC: If anyone asks, I used this version of Once Upon a Dream from the upcoming movie Maleficent because I love how haunting it sounded lol www.youtube.com/watch?v=TZ44x0GnKh4

OOC: I remember that one from the trailer lol. It certainly puts a different spin on the song, doesn't it? XD
BIC: Meanwhile sitting inside the cave with their meal, Gimli was telling Aragorn what had happened earlier with Angel and how she believed that Legolas and Emily were alive somewhere as Aragorn earlier had been unconscious and had not heard any of it until he had awoken a couple of hours ago.
Gandalf sat smoking from his pipe watching Angel and Frodo closely. He knew with each passing day Frodo and Angel were growing closer and closer and that he should be happy for Frodo but given the pressing danger they still had to face from Angel's sister, he still considered the way they acted around one another to be completely inappropriate.
His senses were turned elsewhere when he sensed someone approaching their camp. Immediately he put the pipe down and made towards the direction he had sensed it coming from with his staff out and ready cautious for an attack.
He walked past Angel and Frodo, telling Angel to take sleeping Frodo back into the cave where they would be safe with the others. His voice was stern meaning he expecting no backtalk from her and for her to simply do as she told him.
After watching her do as she was told, Gandalf walked out further away from the others about to take a good whacking to the approaching figures but stopping just in time to recognize it as Legolas once he stepped into the light.
The elf looked like quite a mess with the right sleeve of his green tunic ripped up past the shoulder and the shoulder wrapped up with a now dirty blue cloth. His hair, usually kept neatly back, was left down and hanging and there were several dirt patches all over his clothing where holes and such were in the clothing as well. He had a large cut on his left cheek as well.
Emily followed close behind him, her long blue skirt torn in several places including a large ripped portion in the front right above her boots which she had clearly ripped to bandage Legolas' shoulder. She had a couple cuts herself though they were mostly on her arms with the exception of one on her forehead.
Legolas gave Gandalf a small smile addressing the older wizard in elvish saying something along the lines of "Relax, Mithrin, it's just us." using Gandalf's elven name.

OOC: Yes it sure does! And eww, me no likey Proboards' new update! But I do like how fast the speed goes for replying and viewing pages lol!
BIC: Angel hurry as fast as she could by putting the gloves back on so she didn't have to accidentally prick Frodo awake with her pointy metal fingertips, and then carefully taking the sleeping hobbit back inside the cave to rejoin the others. She knew she had to stay with the dwarf, the injured king and the other hobbits, but the princess couldn't. If Gandalf was going to find whatever danger could be lurking out there, she knew he was going to need her help. So the halfling started heading off to where Gandalf was going to as she took off her gloves and activates her magical powers.
Straight away, Angel went into defensive mode, but came to a stopping halt when it was reveal whom Gandalf found was Legolas and Emily. Angel clear off her powers quickly. "Greenleaf?!?" She spoken, her tone and reaction looking with a surprised shocking reaction. Then she notice Emily who was right behind the elf. "Emily! Your alive!!" She cried happily, rushing over to her friend and gives her a hug. "Ohh! I knew the wolf's thoughts were true! We had almost given up hope!" Angel replied in relief.

OOC: I am still getting used to it myself lol
BIC: Emily was caught temporarily surprised by the hug from Angel but she smiled and hugged her friend back. "It's good to see you too." She spoke. "Wolf's thoughts?" Legolas asked her not at all sure what it was Angel meant.

"Oh yes that's right, you were not there!" Angel remembered when she thought that reminder through to her own after she and Emily were done hugging. So she started to explain to the elf what she had meant by the thoughts of the wolf. "We were under attack by a pack of Draugluin." She started. "Gandalf tells us they feed on elves, like you. And....I've developed a new power I've not had yet until one of them encounter me; call it my inner knowing if you will, but my senses look through one of the wolves' thoughts and indicate you survived." Then looks over to Emily and added "And you too!"
Now that they were found and alive at last, Angel couldn't wait for her and Gandalf to bring Emily and Legolas back to the group. She couldn't wait to see the look on the others' faces when they learned what has been spotted for them. She try to reach over to grab their hands, but pulled back when she remember she did not have on her gloves, so she goes back from pulling them out from her pockets where she left them and puts them back on to cover them again.
Finally, she takes them by each of their hand. "Come! The others are waiting for us back this way, but we'll have to be a bit quiet. Frodo's asleep!" She tells the two of them, so along with Gandalf, she leads them back to the camp where they were at and was the first to go inside of the cave. "King Aragorn, Sir Gimli, look who we've found for you!" Angel smiled and reveals to them who they found was Emily and Legolas.

"Legolas! You lucky princeling! You had us thinking you had gotten yourself killed!" Gimli was the first to speak as he stood up and walked over to them. He pretended to sound angry but his large grin gave him away completely. He kept his voice to somewhat of a whisper so not to wake Frodo as he hugged Legolas before hugging Emily as well. "It's wonderful to see you again, Lady Emily. We feared the worst for you and the elf." He spoke not bothering to pretend to be angry with her. "Oh. I found this. I thought you might want it back." He added after a moment remembering he had her necklace and put it into her hand. "I thought I had lost that, thank you Gimli. It is good to see you too. As you can see I managed to keep the elf alive." She teased.
Legolas rolled his eyes. "I think it was the other way around." He reminded her but he did smile slightly. "You should've known it takes more than dip in the water and a couple of Uruk-hai and goblins to kill me." He teased Gimli.
"Welcome back Legolas." Aragorn had spoken in elvish as he got up limping slightly hugging the elven companion before hugging Emily as well. "It's good to have you back." He spoke to her using common tongue so she would know what he was saying.
"What happened to your leg?" Legolas asked Aragorn in elvish.
"Draugluin attack." Aragorn replied. "I'm alright though." He added reassuring the elf.
Gimli however was the first to notice the glazed look over Emily's brown eyes making them appear more faded and grey. "You're blind!" He couldn't help but exclaim shocked. "Was it the fall? Or Goblins? I'll kill myself a goblin for doing that to you."
"No no it's not that...I was born this way..." Emily muttered.
"But you weren't blind when we first met you nor earlier before the incident." Aragorn spoke turning his attention to Emily his gaze reflecting nothing but concern.
"That's because my cousin used magic to give me the gift of sight before I left home and it wore off...." She spoke though her voice cracked slightly. She had only expressed her concern before to Legolas that she worried the spell had worn off because something terrible had happened to his cousin or worse, that he was dead.
"I told Emily, Gandalf could fix her sight." Legolas spoke before turning to face the wizard standing beside them. "You can, can't you Gandalf?"
"Of course but I must warn you, Emily, mixing magic of other wizards can be rather dangerous and have unintended consequences, are you willing to take the risk?"
She hesitated for a moment before nodding, "Yes. I will take the risk." she replied hoping she would not regret it.

OOC: Wow, I really got to catch up on this. XD
BIC: Walking through the thick snow wasn't exactly a pleasant experience for the little hobbits, especially for the fact that they had to walk through it with their bare feet, which made it even more miserable for them. Fortunately, this was only a temporary thing, for they sought shelter with the others in a cave for the night.
The next morning, Merry was assigned to go on a mission to seek out anything unusual. At first, he saw nothing, but then his eyes caught sight of the Draugluin trekking through the forest. Just the sheer sight of their large size intimidated him greatly, that he crouched low so that he would not be seen.
When Angel fell before having her encounter with one of the wolves, Merry groaned at the thought of losing her and said, "Oh, not again."
Pippin quickly saw Frodo go after her and reached a hand out to shout, "No! Not you, too, Frodo!" But there wasn't much they could do. Their only option was to run away from them with the rest of the group. Given how they ran quite slower than the others, they received a helping hand from Gandalf by being picked up and carried along. After being put down, they stood close to the brave wizard and hoped that they didn't get caught by the ferocious beasts. A sigh of relief came upon them as they watched the wolf pack run off, but it wasn't long before they found out about Aragorn's injury. They did, however, have faith that he would pull through, just like he did in previous battles from the past.
Listening in on what Angel had to say, they were certainly shocked in learning what she had found out from her wolf encounter. Their only thought was "What can't this girl do?" Just the thought of Legolas and Emily possibly being alive brought hope to the little hobbits, making them believe that the two probably did survive the fall after all.
Later that night at the camp, they were resting up until they overheard Sam and Frodo arguing with each other. "Do you think we should help stop this, Merry?" Pippin asked in a whisper.
"Maybe," Merry answered back in hushed tones. "We can't let the good friendship between Sam and Frodo end like this."
Just as they were about to approach their good friends, they made a sudden stop when Angel approached Frodo and sang a gentle lullaby to him. Admittedly, Angel did sing very beautifully, almost like a true angel. They both smiled at the way Frodo looked happy as he started dozing off to sleep. "Aww, Frodo's sleeping like a wee baby," Pippin commented.
Then came the big surprise when Legolas and Emily showed up. Happy to see them again, they ran up to the two and hugged them both, even more so on Emily. Their expressions of joy turned to concern when they soon learned that Emily had become blind. "Ohh, how sad," Merry said with great sympathy.
Reasoning to themselves that if Gandalf could repair Aragorn's leg wound, he could probably fix just about anything. Encouraging him to help Emily, Merry told the wise wizard, "You can do it, Gandalf. Help Emily to see again."
Pippin agreed and added, "Yes, please help her regain her eyesight. She really needs it."

As Gandalf walked over to Emily, Legolas took a step back to watch the wizard work his magic. He did manage to pick up on a few elvish and dwarfish incantations among others that he could not understand and his eyes couldn't help but widened in surprise that Gandalf had indeed been correct that the spell may have unintended consequences. He watched as Emily squinted her eyes temporarily in pain and trying to force herself not back away from the wizard or push him out as a way to escape the pain remembering before from her cousin telling her, that it was impossible to do spells to help someone on the inside if they are blocked out by the other person.
She only opened her eyes when she no longer heard Gandalf speaking the spell and look around relieved to find that she could see but more than that, she could see much further than she had normally been able too.
Noticing Legolas, Gimli, and Aragorn's surprised reactions she wondered what the unintended consequence of the spell had been. Wanting to see for herself she walked over to a small puddle not far from the others where she knelt down to get a good look at her reflection gasping in surprise. Gone were her small round ears replaced with a slightly more pointed shape. She now stood slightly taller and her bones felt a tiny bit lighter and thinner and her cheek bones were slightly more prominent. To her surprise she found her hearing had advanced as well as she could now hear the faint sounds of a squirrel chattering angrily in a tree a little ways off about something or other.
"I am an elf!" She exclaimed shocked.
"Technically, you are now half elven, I did however warn you there may be a consequence as you remember, however this is not the worst one I've seen happen." Gandalf spoke.
"Why this consequence though?" Legolas found himself asking the old wizard.
"Possibly because the wizard who had cast the original spell had been far more inexperienced in the ways of magic and half elven himself." Gandalf replied.
'Well he's got the half elf part right...' Emily thought to herself keeping her mind closed to the others. She didn't bother correcting Gandalf that her cousin was no wizard but rather a prince who had denounced himself as a prince and had instead become a half elf half human dragon rider.

OOC: Yes Thomas! That you need to do BIC: Angel and the other hobbits (all expect for Frodo who was still asleep) looked in awe at the new transformation look Gandalf had did to Emily. None of them would ever dare to think there was more to wizard magic than they thought. But they believe it for good when the warning was clear that it was risky to mixed up magic with other kinds. "Wow! What do you think Mr. Frodo?" Sam asks, but had forgotten that Frodo was the only one who didn't witness what had happened. "Mr. Frodo?" He look down to where his friend was still asleep. "Oh, I forgot!" He mumbles. He lightly shook him awake. "Frodo?" Frodo finally stirred, a bit started at first, but he awoke. "Ohh Sam! Why did you wake me up? I was having a nice dream!" He groaned as he sat up, rubbing his eyes. But Sam gave him a good reason why he had to wake him up, he pointed over to Legolas and Emily that were with still in talks with Gandalf, Aragorn and Gimli. "Ohhh....that's not new!" Frodo commented flatly when he saw that Legolas was alive, but knowing too well that he could of anger the wizard again just for making that statement, the young hobbit cleared his throat and looked away, but not for very long til his eyes caught a glimpse of the newly form of Emily, who no longer what a woman, but now a she-elf. "Is...is that---Emily? Why is she an elf?" "Gandalf did it!" Sam responded. "To cure her eyesight!" "She was blind?" Frodo questioned, though it seem very reasonable. "Why didn't you cure her?" He addresses over to Angel. The princess did had some thoughts about it. She looked down at her hands and removed her left glove, staring at her metal curse. "I would have, I mean I could, but...I'm afraid I don't have enough power in me to do so, because of....well this!" She answers, showing it was the only thing, though she would not admit it, she chose not to when thinking over about the risky warnings Gandalf given to Emily before taking the shot of it. Though it did make a lot of sense to Frodo, there was something about wearing gloves all the time that he did not understood. Though it was clear Angel needed to wear them all the time to keep it all a secret, but was it very necessary to wear them so much, even if it was for touching? That was when Frodo remember when Angel had embraced him once without the use of wearing them. He remember the light very well, how warm it felt on his back. But it was only one time! "When was the last time you had to touch without the use of your gloves?" Frodo asks Angel, not counting the part where they thought Emily and Legolas were dead. "Can't say I'd remember!" She replies, staring yet again at the metal hand. It wasn't enough for him to believe, but Frodo was very curious on what those metal hands might feel like, whether they would glow or not, he had to know. Stepping one foot close to her, Frodo try to carefully reach over, but Angel knew what he was trying to do! "What do you think your doing?" She asks, pulling herself a bit away from him. "Nothing!" Frodo quickly lied. Angel shifted a very suspicious look on her face. She knew he wasn't going to tell her the truth, but she did not question why. "All right then...don't!" She says. As long as she kept continue to wear the gloves, Frodo knew he wasn't going to be able to feel what he wanted to feel from her metal hands. Just when she was about to begin to talk with the others, Frodo knew he had to take his chance now while she was shortly distracted for a brief second. Finally, he puts his hand on it, but not for very long when a bright flash of sparks had shortly frizzed. "AAAAH!!!" Though it didn't harm the princess, she did knew Frodo was the cause of it. "YOU FOOL! I TOLD YOU NOT TO--" She started accusing him by grabbing him from the collar of his clothing, and then threw him down to the ground. "DO YOU EVER LISTEN?" "But I'd thought--" "YOU THOUGHT WRONG!" She cried, grabbing her left glove and started leaving out of the cave. "YOU CANNOT CONTINUE TO BE ISOLATED ANGEL!" He called to her. "JUST TRY ME!!" Angel called back. Sam shook his head with disappointed as Frodo look down at his hand he used and to his surprisement, there was no damage to it. Not even a single scratch or a burn. "How's your hand?" Sam asks, after Angel was gone. "It's fine!" Frodo says. "It didn't hurt?" Sam asks, even more so surprised than Frodo was. "No!" Frodo commented.

Emily was relieved the focus had changed from her to Angel though she did not mention it only because being in Middle Earth for so long she had gotten used to no longer being a center of attention. She did however feel a little bad for Frodo, he was just merely trying to get close to Angel and seemed to be failing at every turn. She could understand why Angel constantly turning him down, she was putting up walls to protect herself and possibly him from what the curse may do to him. Perfectly understandable but if there was something else she knew was that the two were perfect for each other in a way and it was sad to see them fight it.
'Perhaps you should try a different approach with her' Legolas thought to Frodo in his mind so no one else would hear. He, like the others, had witnessed the little scene between Frodo and Angel and despite the hobbit's jealous towards him he figured he would try to offer him a little bit of advice with his love problems. Though he did it secretly so to keep his mind from wandering to the days he had spent alone with Emily and how beautiful she now looked as an elf.

"Your offering me advice?" Frodo return the thought back over to Legolas alone, trying not to show any surprise reactions for the others to know that the elf was trying to communicate with him.
"It's that light of hers, isn't it?" Sam asks, trying to clue in all of the pieces together. "I saw it when she gave you that hug after the battle we had with those goblins and Uruk-Kais.." "It's more than that, I can't explain it." Frodo added. "What's there to explain?" Sam asks, not really getting the details Frodo was trying to tell him. "I've felt them! I've felt her emotions!" Frodo said. It must of been a sign, it was the only way to tell when her glowing hands touched him. Whatever emotion she was having, Frodo felt the same ones. It was too unexplainable.
