"Believe you? Of course I believe you but I'm gonna warn you now Hubie if you start saying I told you so you're gonna regret it." Rocko replied before the small baby chick hugged him.
After a second of hesitation, due to still not being used to hugs, Rocko hugged her back before looking up at Spotty. A name? He hadn't thought about that? For a moment he wondered what Aly would want to name her if she were here and then it hit him "Athena. Her name is Athena." He told his friends.

"I told you so! I told you so, I told you so! I did, I did, I did!" Hubie thought, pretending in his head he was saying it, but not at loud so he wouldn't be needing the regret Rocko had warn him on. He let go of those thoughts so he wouldn't be caught off knowing that he was getting himself distracted purposely from it.
"Athena?" Hubie says, making sure he heard Rocko correctly when he gave his daughter a rightful name. "Athena...hmm! That's a nice name. I like it!" Spotty smiles, nodding to Rocko's good choice.

Rocko nodded. "I think Aly will like the name too." He replied to Spotty and Hubie. At least he hoped she would anyway since it seemed like the kind of name Aly would name their daughter if she was there with them after all.

"So how-how do we get out of here on this...land?" Hubie asks, taking the subject off away from the newly name Athena.
"You won't make it past those glaciers." Spotty pointed out. The two glaciers were as far away as the eye could see and it look tiny as a speck from a clear point penguin's view. "See that there?"
"We get storms once or twice a week. You'll have to stay here til I can help you find a way off the island." Spotty explained. "S-S-Stay here? Your not gonna try and leave in another cave are you?" Hubie asks, fearing a bit worried. He had about enough hiding in caves, but he wouldn't show that off for the sake of Athena and Rocko.
"No, not this time! We moved to another location the last time we seen you. But you'll have to be careful and stick with me. There's more leopard seals on this island than our last home."
Hubie understood him well and so right when they started following behind Spotty, Hubie notice something odd that just wasn't right. It was from the way that Spotty try to move. He look down wondering what it could be and saw that his tail fin was tied to a knot, that it was so hard to see a bit of the white spot.
"Hey Rocko, look! Do you see what I see?" Hubie whispers, hoping that his friend and his newly born daughter could see the same thing Hubie was seeing.

"What?" Spotty stop and turned around to see the looks from his penguin friends' faces. What on earth were they looking at? Their gazes were making him feel a little bit off the awkward side. Viewing from their eyesight, Spotty look down to see that their question was directing about his tied up tail in a knot. Stubbornly, Spotty ignored the question. "I don't wanna talk about it."
"Rocko, do you think Spotty could be hiding something?" Hubie whispers to Rocko. Spotty had always seem honest for a seal, and not the spoiled rotten type to be keeping secrets.

"Think? I know he's hiding something but if he don't wanna tell us now I'm not gonna force it. Everyone has a right to secrets." Rocko replied. He understood Spotty's situation since if there was a secret he didn't want to tell no one could make him do it. He wasn't about to become a hypocrite by trying to make Spotty spill his secret.

Athena saw a flying sqwaking bird passing by the sky. Knowing how amazing and wonderful the glory of flying look to her, Athena straight out her arms and try fluttering them fast, real fast!
But flutteirng those pretending wings of her just barely had her lifted up one tiny inch off the snow and she lost the summoning courage to go up. She flopped back, hitting the snow by landing on her back.
Hubie took notice what the baby she-chick was trying to do. "PFFT! Oh no! HAHAHAHA!" He laughs loudly. Spotty also saw what Athena was trying to do, but failed to see what her idea was. "What is she doing?"

Rocko didn't laugh. He knew exactly what Athena was trying to do. She was trying to fly. Clearly the small hatchling took after him.
He ignored Spotty and Hubie's laughter walking over to Athena helping her back up to her feet. "Don't worry. You'll learn to fly. I'll teach you." He whispered to her so their companions wouldn't hear.

Athena chirped happily to the idea that her daddy would help her learn the fly.
"Am I missing something?" Spotty asks, who wasn't really laughing like Hubie. Hubie cool down so he can take a breather. "N-N-No! Heh..." He says after he caught his breath. "R-Rocko your not going to teach her how to fly are-are you?" He asks looking over to his friend. He didn't hear what he whisper to the little baby chick, and he didn't need to cause he knew how Rocko was.
"Flying?" Said the surprised puzzling looking adult seal. "That's what she was trying to do? Why would she wanna learn that?"
"I don't know." Hubie mutters, but shrugs his shoulders to Spotty.

"Of course I'm going too. I taught your kids didn't I? So why shouldn't I teach my very own?" Rocko replied to Hubie after Hubie had asked him about teaching Athena how to fly.
"Why wouldn't she? Flying is great." Rocko added to Spotty.

"Yeah but Rocko, look at her! She's....she's...." Hubie sputters, but how could he really tell his best friend that his own daughter was too scrawny to learn how to fly? And at such a young small age?
Spotty look up to see if the seagull had been around, but it was already gone. However, he still wasn't understanding what made flying so great for them if penguins couldn't fly. "I'm not an expert on your species Rocko, but...your kind...ehh! Your under the list of flightless birds!" He told him, gesturing his fin down to where flightless birds belong to, while moving his fin to the top is where the type of birds were meant for flying.

"Maybe but I am an exception to the rule. I've mastered the art of flying and if I can do it than by the time I'm done teaching Athena she'll be a perfect flyer just like me." Rocko boasted.
Nothing Spotty nor Hubie could tell him would make him change his mind as he was determined to prove them both wrong no matter how long it took.

"But..." Spotty was almost close into beginning to tell Rocko that penguins will never fly, but he was cut off by Hubie when he saw the penguin, looking like he was ready to say something.
"Ehh..."
"What?" Spotty turn to Hubie. "Rocko's got a point Spotty. I've seen him fly." He admitted honestly. Spotty stared at his adopted flightless father crazily. "Wha--your....your serious?"
Hubie was not taking down a trip to memory-lane, but he was dead on serious in exposing the truth. "Uh-huh! You don't remember cause you were a b-b-baby, but I've watch him flew when you were with us."
Spotty rub the tip of his bangs from his hair. Still confused, why wasn't he told about Rocko's life of flying before?
